Following a six-month residency at Leeds Industrial Museum, The Doffer and the Fancy: Re-imagining the Machine was shown at the Museum from July to December 2019. Including seven new sculptural works and installations shown alongside the machinery that inspired them, the exhibition explored and celebrated the aesthetic of the Leeds Museums and Galleries collection of the region’s textile heritage.
